The Fighting Chance Women's Self Defense Program was designed in specific for women after years of researching violent offenses committed against women ages 16 and up.

INSPIRED and DRIVEN BY STRONG WOMEN:

In the early 2000's, Nik Farooqui, Founder/CEO of S2 Strategic Defense was volunteering time at multiple local domestic violence shelters where the program directors knew his martial arts experience, and asked him to write a program for the ladies.

After weeks of documenting the events that the ladies shared, reaching out to other women who have experienced violent crimes, and finding the patterns that repeated in large majority of the events, he wrote the first version of Fighting Chance.

Fast forward to the mid 2000's and dozens of Fighting Chance seminars given throughout the Midwest and ongoing revisions to the program; the word about Fighting Chance was reaching into colleges, universities, businesses and women's empowerment advocacy groups. Fighting Chance was taking the lead as the most functional, real world, effective, and easy to follow training program designed for women.

Now in the 2012 to current era, we've taught the Fighting Chance program in 16 states to high schools, colleges, businesses, and private groups totaling nearly 2000 women!!!

It’s designed in a way that anyone can do it, you don’t have to be a trained martial artist or ninja. I like how the course is designed into sub-sections, you can go at your pace and make it your own, always with the option of going back to review.
